It's Giving Tuesday, and in Port Clinton, Ohio, a local charity is taking part.
The Ottawa County Community Foundation is hosting an open house at its Little Blue House office on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 11:30am to 5:30am, where locals can drop off new and gently used coats, socks, and underwear for children in need, reports the Port Clinton News.
"We wanted to give back to the community, and we wanted to see their faces," says OCCF board member Brenda Haas.
"People don't know who we are," she adds.
"We've quietly become a support system for charitable organizations in the community."
